What skills and experience we're looking for
Depending on the skill set of the successful candidate:
The post could involve working with our Life Skills students and would suit someone with either:
• Primary teaching experience, especially Early Years / KS1 or
• Experience of working with SLD or PMLD
OR
The post could involve working in KS3 and would suit someone with either:
• Mainstream primary teaching experience in KS1 and/or KS2
• Previous special school experience
Whatever your experience of either might be, we ultimately need staff who are:
• Dedicated, enthusiastic and good humoured
• Patient and resilient with a positive nature
• Creative and full of energy
• Highly skilled and committed
• Passionate about improving outcomes for pupils with SEND
• Genuinely wanting to make a difference to disadvantaged pupils
