Job Responsibilities:
1. Ability to effectively manage your own caseload independently, and engage in business marketing and development to attract work into the department
2. Advise clients on a variety of matters including Probates such as obtaining grants of probate, the preparation of tax forms and probate accounts and administering estates
3. Effectively use the case management system (ALB) to manage client matters, ensuring each one is up to date in line with PCB’s compliance standards
4. Efficiently use legal systems to assist in the completion of client matters
5. Drafting legal documentation whilst complying with relevant case law and SRA regulations
6. Providing excellent client care and high-quality legal advice in line with PCB Solicitors standards
7. Build strong client relationships with existing and prospective clients
8. Highly organised with precise attention to detail
9. Experience with MS office applications such as outlook and word required
10. Experience using case management systems such as ALB, and other legal systems
11. Able to work under pressure and retain high levels of confidentiality at all times
12. Proven internal and external communication skills
13. Maintain your continuing professional development requirements and stay up to date on relevant changes in Probate law
14. Work in a collaborative manner within the team and wider firm
15. Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with others
16. Have a positive approach to tasks and a strong work ethic
Job Types:

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
Place of work:
Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years+ post qualification experience (PQE) required
Previous experience in Probate law and Trusts is essential
£30,000.00 to £45,000.00 FTE, per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
