This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy Inverness Social Work Team with enthusiastic, friendly, and dynamic staff who work alongside AHP's and Nurses in an Integrated Team.
Responsibilities
This post is responsible for providing Social Work services to people requiring community care services and their carers. This includes:
1. Developing, implementing, and assessing Care Plans in consultation with families and multi-disciplinary agencies.
2. Ensuring timely implementation of care plans.
3. Carrying out reviews and undertaking any statutory duties under Adult Support and Protection or Adults with Incapacity legislation to safeguard vulnerable people.
4. Managing an active caseload and undertaking Duty as required to support the team.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council on the ‘Social Worker’ part of the Register and also hold a qualification that is recognised by the SSSC as being equivalent to the Diploma in Social Work (DipSW).
