Our well-established client working within the haulage industry is looking to onboard a reliable and experienced Transport Manager to join their already flourishing team!

Responsibilities:
* Ensuring that all vehicles in the fleet are regularly maintained and roadworthy
* Performing regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
* Assigning and overseeing vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks
* Ensuring that all drivers are properly trained and qualified
* Maintaining accurate records for each vehicle and the cargo transported
* Overseeing the planning and scheduling of routes to optimise efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
* Monitoring transportation costs and finding ways to reduce expenses
* Managing all aspects of the O Licence including legal compliance, tachograph rules and driver infringements
* Dealing with driver disciplinaries where necessary
* Ensuring all transport and health and safety requirements are met
* Managing all levels of fleet maintenance and scheduling repairs when necessary
Requirements:
* Experience within a similar role is essential
* International Transport Management CPC
* Results driven
* Flexible and reliable with a good attitude
* Team Player
