Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Operative in our Fulfilment department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our orders are picked and packed efficiently, accurately, and in line with our quality standards. You’ll work closely with a small team and be an integral part of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work collaboratively within a small team to pick and pack orders for both internal and external customers, meeting speed, accuracy, and quality targets.
2. Packing components to specific requirements.
3. Gain a thorough understanding of the stock being picked and how to prepare it for shipping.
4. Complete relevant paperwork accurately and promptly.
5. Receive goods in and manage associated paperwork and procedures.
6. Organise stock in designated storage locations.
7. Pick daily customer orders efficiently.
8. Maintain accurate stock/location records.
9. Ensure timely dispatch of customer orders, loading the correct products and quantities.
10. Produce clear and accurate delivery documentation.
11. Assist with stocktakes as needed.
12. Collaborate with team members to align with business strategy.
13. Meet individual and departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets.
14. Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and report any issues.
15. Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Good Distribution Practice at all times.
16. Perform any other duties as required in line with this role.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
2. Excellent attention to detail.
3. Strong time management skills.
4. Ability to work independently and use initiative.
5. Capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.
6. Adaptability to changing priorities.
7. Methodical problem-solving skills.
