Customer Service Executive - Cruise Tour Operator (UK based Remote Role) Basic salary up to £26,000 per annum £3k-£6k bonus benefits This thriving cruise tour operator is seeking a Customer Service Executive to join their homebased Cruise Operations Team. To be considered for this role, you must have sales support / pre departure customer service experience gained within a Tour Operator / Online Travel / Retail Travel. Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, you will be the point person for this travel brand’s customers, creatively finding solutions to their pre departure enquiries. The role is ideally suited for a candidate who is confident, able to build quick rapport with customers and has an ownership mentality. The Homebased Customer Service Role: · Handle pre departure enquiries from cruise customers, respond accordingly and resolve effectively · Demonstrate high levels of customer service standards and professional relationship with customers · Respond, investigate, and resolve customer requests in accordance with company protocol, procedures, and travel industry guidelines · Prioritise your workload, deal with conflicting demands and meet deadlines · Take ownership of changes to cruise booking and itineraries, cancellations along with customers follow up · Support open, accurate and prompt communication, both written and verbal, to clients and colleagues · Assist customers with their holiday documents, queries, and changes · Escalate all pertinent matters to customer service manager as necessary Now Let’s Talk About You: · Previous Customer Service / Sales Support experience gained within a cruise or travel company · Ability to work on a busy desk and overcome difficult situations diplomatically · Team player with excellent organisational and time management skills · Ability to listen and trouble shoot enquires, organisational skills, able to prioritise work to meet deadlines · Computer literacy skills in using PC, associated networks, systems, including Microsoft Word and Outlook The Package: · Excellent basic salary offering £24,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience Plus an additional £3,000 - £6,000 bonus on up selling holiday products · Excellent benefits on offer · Working hours: 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday, with an hour for lunch Working one Saturday per month as per Rota with day in Lieu during the week · Career growth · Opportunity to travel on Fam Trips Sounds Like You?
