About the role
Varied and rewarding, this is a great role for anyone who loves working with the public and wants to fast-track their career. As a Donor Care Supervisor, you’ll supervise the Donor Carers who welcome blood donors to donation sessions. It’s a key role where you’ll strive for excellence so every session runs like clockwork. It’s all about supervising staff, overseeing session setup, and handling paperwork. You will also deal with administrative tasks to support the team.
We’ll provide intensive training in Donor Care skills, opening doors to various roles within six months. Beyond that, we’ll support your growth in leadership, equipping you to excel in every part of this role.
About You
To join us in this level you’ll need an NVQ Level 4 in Customer Service, Business or equivalent qualification or equivalent work experience. Whatever your credentials, you’ll have worked with patients or donors in a healthcare setting. Your CV will also feature supervisory and leadership skills; in short, you’ll be great with people. You’ll have experience of dealing with the public and providing fantastic service.
Finally, you’ll need tech abilities but don’t worry if yours need refreshing. We’ll train you up when you join. You just need the motivation to learn.
