Director - Accountancy & Finance Recruitment
Vertex Associates are partnering with an international Insurance business in hiring an International Payroll Specialist on a 6 month FTC. You will be required to work in the Milton Keynes office 3 days a week.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Support with all international payroll processes, queries and issues
2. Process the monthly international payrolls
3. Ensure the payroll is processed accurately, on time and conforming to local legislation
4. Support with general enquiries from local tax authorities & staff at all levels
5. Support the testing and development of new Payroll systems and processes throughout the Company
6. Produce year-end information
7. Provide payroll support for Benefits administration
8. Assist employees, HR Team, Line managers and the business with payroll queries/issues
9. Assist with HR issues including: Benefits and Holidays
10. Assist with Absence Management including sick and maternity leave
11. Maintain a positive and solution oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback
Requirements:
1. CIPP qualification is preferred
2. Experience in processing 5 or more International Payrolls is preferred
3. Experience in using an outsourced payroll provider, preferably Cloudpay
4. Proven experience in an international payroll position, in a fast-paced environment required
5. Strong knowledge of International tax legislation
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
