My client is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team, at a well-renowned regional house builder with a strong presence across South, East & West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional with a passion for house building and a focus on quality delivery rather than quantity. As Site Manager, you will oversee residential projects, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and quality throughout the build process. Furthermore, projects themselves where requirements are needed are in South and West Yorkshire. The client is flexible and prepared to place the right candidate on a site closest to their living address.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee residential construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Ensure that all site operations comply with health and safety regulations and that safety is always prioritised on site.
* Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and ensure that work is completed to specification and quality.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
* Monitor the site’s progress, ensuring work is on track and identifying potential issues before they impact timelines or quality.
* Maintain accurate site documentation, including health and safety records, method statements, and risk assessments.
* Ensure quality control on every aspect of the project, with a sharp focus on high standards from the foundation to final finishes.
* Ensure that materials are efficiently managed and wastage is minimised.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all on-site matters, keeping senior management and clients updated with progress and any concerns.

* A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently, whilst supporting the wider team.
* A relevant construction qualification (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) is essential.
* The ability to work across multiple sites in South, East & West Yorkshire – with the ideal location being the site closest to your current home.
