TheRole
As the Head ofCommunications for the UK & Ireland youlllead our communication efforts across the region. Your mission Makesure everyone knows and loves Oatly. Youll alsoplay a key role inpromoting the shift towards dairyalternatives.
Youll partner with key executivescrossfunctional colleagues (like those in Brand Public AffairsCommercial Sustainability Nutrition Innovation Legal andRegulatory) to coherently further the companys mission identify andtackle business threats and overall ensure a holistic approach toeverything we do externally.
Youll set theUK&I communications strategy and make sure its implementedacross your two markets. Youll ensure Oatly is a leader in theconversation on dairy alts nutrition and transforming our foodsystem for the sake of people and planet. All in keeping withOatlys unique tone of voice of course.
The rolereports into the General Manager for UK & Ireland. Whilstthe UKI team is where youll call home you will also be part of anawesome network of communications professionals across Oatlyglobally supported and guided by our global commsteam.
The role is based in the UK with theexpectation you can commute to our London office with ease. Therole may require a small amount of travel to Ireland and our Malmheadquarters.

What Youll BeDoing
* Create and leadthe communications strategy for the UK and Ireland markets inalignment with commercial and brand priorities and ultimately helppeople make the shift to plantbased dairy.
* Planand coordinate campaign moments events product launches and mediabriefings for maximum media coverage.
* Build andmaintain strong relationships with key media outlets journalistsand influencers.
* Leverage senior leadership toamplify Oatlys presence in the region.
* Handlemedia enquiries and press issues with professionalism tact and inOatlys tone of voice. Should an issue arise work in our crisisresponse model to create and implement communicationsstrategies.
* Act as a company spokesperson inrelevant situations. Proactively push back against misconceptionsabout Oatly and the category especially those spread by establishedindustries.
* Ensure adequate media training forrelevant stakeholders in your region. Support Oatlys spokespersonswhen preparing for interviews or speakingopportunities.
* Stay uptodate with industrytrends competitor activities and market developments. Provideinsights and recommendations to theteam.
* Support the Public Affairs team in thecultivation of relationships with government officials policymakersregulatory bodies and trade associations and work together tomonitor legislative and regulatory risks to Oatlys business andprepare action plans in consultation. Help protect Oatly fromregulatory threats that usually originate from those who dont agreewith our mission.
* Manage and oversee relevantagencies and association relationships in your markets and ensurebestinclass delivery. Oversee the communications team in the UKIwhich includes the UKI CommunicationsManager.
