The role will operate from our site in Coleshill, Birmingham. It houses the central UK teams for Project Engineering, Health & Safety, Logistics, Bulk Maintenance and Technical Support as well as key industrial activities including an Air Separation Unit producing 200 Tonnes/day of liquid Oxygen, Nitrogen and Argon, Packaged Gas Filling and a Workshop for cryogenic trailer maintenance and bulk tank preparation. The IMS and Technical team work closely within the wider Operations team focussing on driving Safety, Quality and Operational Excellence and providing Technical leadership across the organisation and all operational functions. Working as a member of the IMS & Technical Team you will play a central role in establishing new procedures and controls for the management of technical documentation for industrial plants and facilities. You will develop change management skills working closely with the wider Industrial Operations and SHEQ functions to ensure support and buy-in. Activities include: Conducting an inventory of current technical documentation available by site, ownership and location (storage repository). Coordinating a technical review of documentation against the as-is installed state identifying deviations. Auditing a sample of sites and functions with regard to documentation availability and documentation management (Documentation storage, maintenance and control). Producing standards detailing the requirements for technical documentation for each site. Completing a gap analysis of industrial sites related to technical documentation. Developing agreed plans to address gaps. Assessing the requirements of different users and availability of documentation. Proposing and developing solutions to ensure necessary documentation is available to users in a controlled manner and meeting user requirements. ___________________ Are you a MATCH? Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Process Engineer (or equivalent) Essential knowledge and skills: Effective Communication skills in order to be able to understand other needs. (Google Sheets, Docs, Slides) Structured way of working while being able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
