We have a post for a Digital Communications Officer to join the busy communications and engagement team within Cardiff and Vale UHB and focus on the Keeping Me Well project, working closely with our therapies teams. The post is new to the organisation to increase the engagement with our staff and communities of the Keeping Me Well project and website, The successful candidates will be required to produce effective communications and have knowledge of social marketing; modern methods of digital communication and engagement will be essential. They will also have strong skills in website development and CMS platforms. The post holders will be based with the Communications and Engagement Team at Woodland House, Maes y Coed Road, Cardiff. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job This role requires a digital communications professional to plan and implement digital communications on behalf of the Keeping Me Well project. It requires delivery of the corporate e-communication functions, including design and content management of existing platforms used by the organisation (website, Intranet, digital screens, videos etc). The role will also develop, implement, maintain and evaluate innovative digital communication campaigns, making best use of new media opportunities. Digital communications will be tailored for a wide range of audiences so that they engages staff, stakeholders, media and the public. The post-holder will support training to enable other digital champions within the organisation to maintain online platforms and undertake digital communication projects. The individual will be able to provide advice to others within the organisation on digital communications, linking closely with managers, staff and committees.
