Our client is one of the largest food service businesses globally. Due to an internal promotion, they are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management professional to join their Ireland Supply chain leadership team. The Supply Chain Manager will have responsibility for all demand planning, logistics and inventory for the organisation's UKI business. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic IT leader who has strong industry knowledge to lead the delivery and implementation of a wide range of services and products.
The Role
* Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will develop, coordinate, and manage all aspects of Supply Chain for the business.
* You will measure Supply chain performance through defined KPIs focused costs management, relationships, team development, and continuous improvements.
* Build collaborative relationships with executive leadership by participating in the development and implementation of supply chain solutions as well as proactively addressing challenges as they arise.
* You will monitor and provide analysis of relevant metrics on various reports while taking corrective action where appropriate.
* Develop and provide complete analytical support for periodic Supply Chain reviews with full responsibility for the function's performance.
* Leading inventory management, forecasting demand, and implementing strategies to optimise stock levels and avoid lost sales.
* You will work closely with the buying team to drive income opportunities with a customer-centric approach to supply chain management.
* Negotiate with external vendors, transport providers and contractors to optimise the network and achieve revenue targets.
* You will coach and develop a team of experienced professionals while creating an inclusive, engaged, and collaborative culture.
The Person
* You will be degree qualified with a proven track record in supply chain management within a fast moving consumer goods organisation.
* Strong problem solving and emotional intelligence competencies.
* Experienced in stakeholder relationship management and development with excellent conflict management skills.
* A flexible approach to supply chain operations
* Excellent at analysing key performance data with advanced Excel skills.
* Demonstrated experience in people leadership, development, and succession planning.
Up to €96000 per annum + Depending on Experience
