Who You Are As a Social Worker - Court Specialist, you possess extensive post-qualifying experience within Children’s Services, especially in areas involving child protection, legal and court processes, and writing court reports. What the Job Involves Your main role is to ensure effective oversight of all care proceedings and pre-proceedings in Powys County. This includes working with Social Workers to write and review court reports, participating in Permanence Planning meetings, and ensuring timely assessments related to the care of children. You will need to develop and maintain databases, provide reports projecting service demands, and attend court proceedings when necessary. Your responsibilities also include advising in legal planning meetings and liaising with CAFCASS concerning any care proceeding concerns.
