The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Sales and Ecommerce Executive, reporting directly into the Head of Sales, to manage and develop our ecommerce business through a number of pure play customers, and also managing a number of our direct customers. This is a varied and important role within our business and we are looking for someone that understands the principles of selling online and an individual that is driven, hungry and passionate about delivering great results in what will be a varied yet rewarding role. We are seeing significant growth with online and there is plenty of opportunity to develop this further with the right person. This role will ideally be office based and will require you to be both confident on the phone and have great attention to detail for all admin related tasks.
Key responsibilities:
Sales
* Manage and develop both our online business, and key customers that represent a significant part of the business.
* To manage a number of our direct customers through regular phone call management to ensure regular orders are placed where required.
* Cross selling of our entire range to maximise all customer opportunities where appropriate.
* Identify and develop new customers from initial lead to opening the account, ensuring we continue to develop and grow the customer base – from initial phone enquiry to order processing and invoicing.
* Development of new customers such as TikTok Shop
General
* Management of both inbound and outbound customer related calls, both for orders and general enquiries.
* Download accepting and processing of customer orders in a timely fashion.
* Recording of relevant customer information on accounting system and internal CRM toolkit.
* Assist and support in the day to day running of the sales department including completion of ad hoc tasks as required and coordination of all order shipments.
* Attend and represent the company at Trade Shows or industry events.
* Provide absence cover and support for the wider team where required, including mail order customers.
About you:
* Ideally will have some experience of managing pureplay ecommerce customers, or at least recent exposure to these customers
* Exceptional time management skills with ability to plan and manage multiple tasks at once through a proactive and driven approach.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels via telephone, email and in person.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills with an enthusiastic, personable and entrepreneurial nature
* Enthusiastic and personable individual willing to work in a close nit office team.
* Good capability on Excel, Word and PowerPoint with an ability to learn new IT systems quickly.
Due to our office location, you will require a reliable mode of transport to get to/from the office.
