An exciting opportunity to support pupils aged 11-16 within the Humanities department of a secondary school in Bolton. Full-time History teacher. Required to start April 2025. Supporting students aged 11-16. Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE. Full planning and marking responsibilities. Paid to teaching scale point (£31,650 - £49,084). Due to a restructure within the History department, our client secondary school are looking for an additional teacher to ensure all pupils are supported. This mixed secondary school is based near the centre of Bolton and has around 1000 pupils on roll. The school has modern facilities throughout the school with interactive whiteboards and several computer suites available to both pupils and staff. The successful candidate will need to prepare and deliver differentiated History lessons to meet the needs of pupils at varying levels of learning ability. The school is easily accessible via the M62/M66/A580/A56 and via public transport links from the surrounding areas including Bury, Farnworth, Horwich and Rivington. To be considered for this position you must hold QTS and have experience teaching History up to GCSE level.
