Then Harvey Ward could be for you. We are looking for a gastroenterology experienced nurse to join our team to support our drive for excellence.
Harvey Ward is a 20-bedded gastroenterology ward specialising in the care of patients with conditions such as acute gastric bleed, eating disorders, acute alcohol detoxification and Crohn's disease, along with treating patients with haematology and oncology conditions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual seeking to advance in their career and their first charge nurse role.
We are a diverse team who strive for further improvement and will support you to develop and enhance your knowledge in both gastroenterology, leadership and management skills.
You will be providing patient-centred care, putting the patient at the heart of what you do, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, striving for excellence.
Main duties of the job
The band 6 sister/charge nurse is an experienced nurse who must be able to interact at all levels of the nursing and midwifery profession. The individual is expected to represent the department they work in, supporting the clinical leadership team as well as the clinical team to deliver high quality, standardised evidence-based care.
