Reed HR are supporting a private sector company in Sheffield to recruit a permanent, full-time HR Manager. They are looking for a true generalist who would be keen to progress with the company. The role is paying circa £40k and would preferably be based on site, but they are open to discussing hybrid options. Responsibilities:
* Act as the point of contact for managers and employees.
* Day-to-day management of the People Team.
* Providing advice and assistance on company policies, procedures, and legislation.
* Resolve employee relations issues including facilitating conflict resolutions, managing absence and performance, disciplinary action, and grievance procedures.
* Working with hiring managers to execute the recruitment process.
* Ensuring the training and development needs of the workforce in line with personal development, job requirements, and business objectives.
* Update the HR management system for all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy throughout.
* Compile HR documents where necessary, including job descriptions, offers of appointment, contracts of employment, and employee relations documentation.
* Assist the Head of People with the implementation of HR strategies.
* Working towards and implementing HR projects.
