As an Associate Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistant to Project/Programme Managers in the planning and execution phases of a variety of projects, both Customer-funded and R&D, within our comprehensive and exciting portfolio. Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of projects on time, to quality and within budget. Role Responsibilities Support the PM in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and milestones for assigned project(s). Coordinate project activities, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful completion of projects. Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes. Prepare and distribute project status updates to project stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, and Customers to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication. Identify potential project risks and develop and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Monitor and track risks throughout the project lifecycle and take proactive measures to address them. Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders. Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, risks, changes, and potential issues. Actively support quality control efforts and ensure project deliverables meet the required standards. Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenditure. Track project costs and assist in identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities. Help manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project objectives. Provide support to project team members, including scheduling meetings, and coordinating project-related logistics. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process enhancements. Perform other related duties as required About You Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is desirable. Familiarity with industry-standard Project Management tools (e.g. MS Project), software, and methodologies (e.g. APM, PRINCE2) is a plus. Previous experience in a project management role or exposure to project management principles through internships, work experience or coursework is desirable.
