Job Introduction
The Gilbertine Kitchen, established in 2019, is a family-run business now expanding into central Cirencester. We are seeking a friendly and reliable Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing sandwiches and other menu items, making barista coffee, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused individual to join a great team as we approach our new opening. The successful applicant will need to be reliable, friendly, and customer-focused and enjoy working within a small team. A love for great food and producing excellent quality drinks is essential!
Role Responsibility
1. Taking stock takes
2. Placing orders
3. Making fresh sandwiches and barista coffee to order
4. Managing the team whilst on shift and dealing with customer enquiries
5. Using the Square till system to serve customers in a friendly manner
6. Ensure good knowledge of products on sale
7. Ensure the shop is presented to a high standard throughout the day and carry out thorough cleaning at the end of the day
8. Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Essential
1. Excellent barista knowledge
2. Excellent communication skills
3. Excellent leadership skills
4. Weekend availability
Desirable
1. Basic knowledge of food hygiene and Health & Safety
2. Café Assistant (1 Year Preferred)
The pay range reflects both age and experience, but there is plenty of opportunity to join us and progress with the training provided.
