Merlin Timber Frame are a family run Timber Frame company based in North Herefordshire seeking a motivated and diligent Contracts supervisor to oversee and manage timber frame contracts. We carry out projects all over the country ranging from extensions and residential developments to large commercial applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Timber Frame and Construction.

Office/Site Jobs:
* Manage the preparation and execution of contracts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Organisation and overseeing the successful delivery of timber frame project lifecycles, both on a supply only and supply and erect basis ensuring all projects run smoothly
* Regular site visits to monitor the progress of site works and provide reports to the management team
* Liaison with erectors organising site programmes, obtaining competency information such as training records, tickets etc.
* Liaison with customers, providing updates, arranging programmes etc.
* Collaborate with subcontractors, and clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Address any issues or disputes that arise during projects, facilitating resolutions in a timely manner.
* Maintain accurate records of contract changes, correspondence, and project documentation.
* Drafting site specific RAMS for each project
* Drafting site lift plans for each project
* Carrying out post timber frame erection snagging and snag reports
* Overseeing site completion and handover to clients/customers
* Working in line with ISO9001/ CatG Framemark/ STA requirements and completing required paperwork
* Assisting the managing director and the sub management team
* Develop and implement strategies to improve contract management processes.
* Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes that may arise.
* Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation for auditing purposes.
* Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to build strong working relationships.
* Provide leadership and guidance to team members involved in contract management activities.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Previous timber frame experience beneficial
* Timber frame erection experience beneficial
* Own diary management essential
* STA experience beneficial
* People skills essential
* Health & Safety experience essential
SKILLS
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive projects from inception to completion.
* Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Highly organised, with keen attention to detail in managing multiple contracts simultaneously.
* Proficient in using Outlook, Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for communication and scheduling.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
* Proven leadership capabilities
Hours
We expect hours to be flexible in order to achieve satisfactory completion of any and all tasks/projects.
Standard Working Week Hours 0800 - 1700 (Monday to Thursday) 0800 – 1630 (Friday)
Pay
Salaried, based on previous experience.

Holiday
28 days per annum (including bank holidays)
Employment terms, notice periods and entitlements all as per standard Merlin Timber Frame LTD contract of Employment. This includes a standard 9-month probationary period.
We shall also carry out an initial 3 & 6-month review followed by annual reviews of your performance thereafter.
