Deploy Recruitment Group will be looking for a number of Sub-Station Electricians for major schemes on the London Underground from February. The work will involve the upgrade of the HV Traction Power Systems throughout the length of the Piccadilly Line as well as upgrades to signalling assets. The work will involve replacing worn and redundant HV cabling throughout tunnels and LUL Sub-Stations, as well as affiliated work that falls under the scheme. The work will based on days and nights and will be based on 5 shifts per week with occasional weekends when required. The work is ongoing, and several phases follow this initial phase of around 12 months. The work will be located throughout London and within the M25. We are seeking applicants who are familiar with working in the LUL environment as a working knowledge of rail systems, standards, and health and safety guidelines is a pre-requisite for the role. You must have a minimum ICI-LU competence along with your electrical qualifications. Additional Tickets such as Sub-Station entry, Safe Isolation L3, QAFF, Pasma & Track Trolley are advantageous for this role. Full Sub-Station training can be provided to those candidates who have strong LUL knowledge and hold the relevant trade qualifications. You must first pass a DBS check in order to qualify for Sub-Station training. This role is on a PAYE-employed basis; we are unable to offer LTD or CIS employment models for this role.
