We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our team. You’ll be handling complex cases, particularly focusing on children seeking asylum without any accompanying adults. Your Responsibilities : Handle and assess complex cases to make sure resources are used effectively. Share your professional social work knowledge with the team. Guide and support other Social Workers in their professional growth. Represent us in court for important and sensitive cases. Supervise staff as instructed by the Team Leader. Assess the practice of students on placement. Help develop new initiatives. Qualifications Needed : A degree in Social Work, CQSW/DipSW, or something similar. Registered as a social worker with the General Social Care Council. Experience Required : Extensive experience working with children and families. Experience handling complex family situations in a statutory childcare setting. Skills and Abilities : Excellent direct work skills with children and their families. Ability to ensure quality through supervision, case audits, and reviews. Ability to work within an Equal Opportunities, non-discriminatory framework. Good at negotiating and interacting with others.
