Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term post as a Band 7 Clinical Scientist within Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust working mainly at our Winchester site. The successful applicant will be an integral part of our friendly Audiology team.
The Audiology department at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services for children and adults with hearing and balance disorders.
Main duties of the job
This role will involve working in Tier 2 and Tier 3 Paediatric Audiology at Winchester. There will be the opportunity to work within our Vestibular Assessment and Rehabilitation service in Winchester as well should this interest you.
Applications are welcomed from experienced clinicians as well as graduates from the Scientist Training Programme. Essential criteria for this post include an MSc in Audiology or equivalent and appropriate registration (HCPC).

Qualifications
* Essential criteria: HCPC registration as a clinical scientist (or in process of registration)
* Desirable criteria: 2 years experience post graduation from STP or equivalent training
Paediatric Experience
* Essential criteria: Tier 3 paediatric experience
* Desirable criteria: 1 year of paediatric tier 3 experience post training
Vestibular Experience
* Essential criteria: Experience of vestibular assessment and rehabilitation
* Desirable criteria: 1 year or more experience post training
