This is the magic of Metall-FX™; what could only once be imagined, can now be achieved. Main Duties The role of CNC setter operator encompasses a variety of tasks. To successfully undertake the CNC setter operator role, we would expect you to be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and have and understanding of the following. · Setting and operating a range CNC routing centres with the purpose of producing high-quality parts. · Doing basic CNC machine more checking measurement off the machine that programming. · Pre-set programs/Creating programs · Profiling machines. · Cutting machine/ Routing M.D.F. · Undertaking a variety of production related tasks in line with direction from the team leader. · Preparation of CNC machines to ensure optimum performance of routing cycles · Translation of instruction into computer programmes · Preparation of test runs for first inspection · G and M codes to complete online edits during a set up · Wear offsets and changing inserts while job is in WIP · Selecting tooling, faultless set up · Right first-time inspection process · Notice defected components during WIP · If you have an background in engineering and in at least one of the following: NVQ level 2, BTEC level 2, City and Guilds, completed a manual skill, CNC apprenticeship or proven experience of CNC router operating and setting. Or proven experience of working with these types of machines they we want to hear from you.
