Court of Protection Solicitor / Legal Executive I am working with a well-established client to find a dedicated Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their Court of Protection Deputyship Team. This is a great opportunity to work on meaningful cases and make a real difference in the lives of clients.About the Role As part of the Deputyship Team, you will: Manage a variety of professional and lay deputyship caseloads from application through to administration. Prepare and submit Court of Protection applications, including professional, lay, trustee, and interim/urgent applications. Provide expert legal advice to union clients through a free legal advice service. Collaborate with case managers, carers, clients, and their families to deliver tailored support. What You’ll Need To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 1 years’ experience managing deputyship files, particularly involving brain injury cases. Strong knowledge of the Court of Protection and relevant law. Ability to run a caseload independently from the outset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Competence in file management and the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. A proactive, team-oriented approach and a commitment to client care. Ideally, a qualified Solicitor (NQ – 5 years PQE), though equivalent experience will also be considered. Why Join This Team? Competitive salary of £35,000 – £45,000, depending on experience. 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus 4 days Christmas shutdown.
