Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, Harrogate Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £12.85 - £15.00 Per hour Job Duties: Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities Providing one-to-one support for students with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with the assessment of student progress and providing feedback to teachers Required Qualifications: A relevant qualification in Education or Special Educational Needs Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working with children or individuals with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students with SEN Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy towards students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Additional qualifications in SEN or teaching assistant roles Working Conditions: Work will primarily be carried out in a school setting, following the school term calendar All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
