Are you an experienced Nurse who would relish the opportunity to be part of a specialist service where you will develop your knowledge and skills in the field of eating disorders?
A nurse position has arisen at our specialist adult eating disorder inpatient service in Marlborough, Wiltshire. Our team is committed to delivering safe and innovative care, with a reputation for excellence, providing a tailored treatment model within the recovery framework.
We are a multidisciplinary team with a dispersed leadership model, ensuring nursing is central to patient care. We offer comprehensive supervision and preceptorship programs for trained nurses, along with opportunities to learn CBTe and DBT skills, emphasizing evidence-based professional development.
You will have the chance to undertake training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-ED) and co-facilitate groups such as DBT or creative arts. Regular support groups and educational sessions will enhance your knowledge and experience.

Main duties of the job
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Serving as nurse in charge during shifts, ensuring safe and effective unit operation
* Taking on primary and secondary nurse roles within care teams, acting as a key worker and liaising with carers
* Facilitating therapeutic group programs
* Administering medication
* Supporting patients during snack and meal times
* Supporting and delivering Naso Gastric (NG) tube feeding (training provided)
* Performing phlebotomy (training provided)
* Supervising support workers and students
* Working various shifts, including early, late, long day, and night shifts, in a 24/7 inpatient environment
* Communicating with community professionals and other inpatient services
