Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of small and medium-sized limited company and LLP accounts primarily from a trial balance as well as manual client records.
2. Preparation of industry-specific accounts including solicitors' accounts and charities.
3. Providing detailed discussion notes for client meetings on accounting and tax-related aspects.
4. Direct client involvement – working with the client to solve queries and provide recommendations.
5. Management accounts preparation and cash flow projections.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
1. ACA/ACCA-qualified or part-qualified.
2. Knowledge of IRIS accounts production would be advantageous.
3. Good knowledge of bookkeeping packages including Sage and Xero.
4. Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis techniques.
5. Comfortable with complex reconciliations such as CIS and VAT.
6. Some previous audit exposure would be beneficial.
7. Superb written and spoken English.
8. Must be highly enthusiastic and self-motivated.
9. Can work as part of a team or independently.
10. The ability to drive would be useful.

1. Our standard working week is a 37.5-hour week on a hybrid basis (with up to 2 days a week working from home).
2. Core working hours are 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
