We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced pacemaker specialist physiologist. The individual should be able to work independently (or with minimal support), within the pacing field and ideally have cardiac device accreditation (BHRS/IBHRE/EHRA). Consideration, however, would be given to a person working towards accreditation.
Opportunities are available for professional development, and we would also be open to explore other areas of development in which the post holder may be interested.
Main duties of the job
* To be responsible for the continual development and day to day running of the department
* To help facilitate the smooth day-to-day running of the Cardio-Respiratory Department.
* To maintain appropriate CPD and remain current with developments in the field of Cardiology.
* Participate in the appraisal of junior members of staff and regular reviews.
* To adhere to all Trust policies and procedures as laid out in the Employee handbook.
Person Specification
Experience
* Accreditation - completed or in process
* Cardiac catheter procedures
Skills, knowledge and Competencies
* Brady device implants and follow-ups independently
Working conditions
* Willing to work across 2 hospital sites
