Our client is a contracting firm operating in the private and social housing sectors with expertise in domestic and commercial electrical projects and is seeking to hire an office based QS Electrical Manager (Qualified Supervisor).
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing and approving all electrical certifications within the companies NICIEC registration.
2. Providing technical support for various aspects of electrical installation works.
3. Conducting pre- and post-installation checks and performing site inspections when required.
4. Offering trend analysis, conducting Toolbox talks, and delivering Safety briefs.
5. Managing a team of employed electricians and subcontractor electricians.
6. Nationwide travel as projects necessitate.
Qualifications:
1. Holds relevant electrical qualifications and certifications.
2. Demonstrates a strong understanding of domestic and commercial electrical work.
Experience:
1. Proven experience as a supervisor in the electrical field, overseeing projects and certification processes.
2. Up to date NICIEC Registration, showcasing compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Skills:
1. Adept at providing technical support for various aspects of electrical installation works.
2. Ability to ensure and maintain high standards of quality and compliance with electrical regulations.
3. Competent in conducting thorough site inspections and pre/post-installation checks.
4. Strong communication skills to provide clear guidance and support to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
5. Capable of performing trend analysis to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
6. Prioritises safety, with the ability to conduct Toolbox talks and Safety briefs effectively.
7. Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.
8. Proficient in maintaining accurate and detailed records of electrical certifications and inspections.
9. Works collaboratively with team members to ensure project success.

Required Qualifications:

2. Essential 18th Edition certification.
3. Essential 2391 certification.
4. Essential Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.

6. Essential possession of a Gold Card.
