With offices in London and Abu Dhabi, they run initiatives to come together as a team and nurture relationships between colleagues.
Currently, a team of 20 people, they have ambitious growth plans for 2025 having secured their seed round of funding from leading investors last year. Not only are they looking to bring on board an Operations Assistant, but they will also be expanding across multiple business lines such as Engineering, GTM, and Product Design, making it a great time to join a growing business
*The salary range for this role is between £60K to £80K, and this organisation operates a hybrid working model.
The Role
As an Operations Associate, you will become part of the organisation, leveraging your background in fund operations or fund administration/fund management to enhance operational workflows and guarantee the smooth operation of their solutions.
There will be three key pillars to your role:
* Fund Operations and Administration
* Financial Operations and Reporting
* Business Operations and Process Optimisation
Embracing ownership, you will be collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring that reporting, documentation on funds, procedures, and compliance are being managed and actioned effectively within the business. Innovation and identifying new strategies for efficiency will be something for you to embrace in this role as you look at identifying how to implement automation into the business, establishing a new benchmark for operational excellence. Some additional elements to the role include:
* Implement operational policies, procedures, and controls to optimise efficiency and minimise risk.
* Identify areas for process improvement and create and implement solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and initiatives that drive growth and efficiency.
* Coordinate fund setup, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
* Produce and review operational reports and performance.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements across markets.
What They Are Looking For:
* 3-5 years of experience in Operations and/or Fund Accounting within the hedge fund or alternative investment industry.
* An understanding of financial markets, trading operations, and the regulatory landscape related to digital assets.
* Experience in fund administration/fund management or have experience working closely with them.
* An understanding of fund structures, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* An owner mindset, curiosity and the ambition to advance your career in a growing company.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
