We are looking to expand our specialist ADHD team by recruiting an experienced ADHD Speciality Doctor.

Main duties of the job
We are looking to expand our specialist ADHD team by recruiting an experienced ADHD Speciality Doctor. Our ADHD team is a multi-professional team whose main focus is the assessment and treatment of adults presenting with ADHD symptoms. The primary focus of the team is to provide high quality, ADHD assessments and treatment. The postholder will conduct ADHD assessments for adults accessing the service and conduct regular medication reviews for a caseload of adults, with monitoring of treatment response. The postholder will be required to work closely with the multidisciplinary team and also work autonomously and exercise a very high level of clinical expertise. The postholder must also possess expertise in the assessment of ADHD and be able to evidence delivery of a similar role elsewhere.
Our service model is mainly virtual whereby patients are assessed and managed using video and telephone consultations. A laptop and appropriate mobile working equipment will be provided.

Skills

Qualifications
* NHS general psychiatric knowledge.
* Keen to sub-specialise in clinical practice within Community Care.
* Awareness of ADHD drug administration.
* Commitment to completing the ADHD accredited courses.
Experience
* Minimum two years experience.
* Ability to demonstrate professional and clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with the post.
* Awareness of neurodevelopmental disorders, including experience in cross discipline and cross boundary working.
* Demonstration of involvement in innovations and the introduction of new practices.
* Experience of delivering education to patients and health professionals.

£60,000 to £65,000 a year depending on experience.
