Job Description
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician
Location: Rotherham
Never thought Rolls-Royce was for you? It's time to change that thinking. If you have the basic technical skills, you could be part of our expert team and help deliver the vital repairs and maintenance our world-class production facilities rely on.
Become a Maintenance Services Technician
At our Advanced Blade Casting Facility (ABCF), we make critical turbine blades that go into our world-leading jet engines. It means we're at the cutting edge of casting and automated technology. Making this a high-tech, modern space you'll enjoy being in every day.
You'll work with our Manufacturing Service Engineers and Leaders to ensure tools and equipment across our facilities are safe and ready to use. This means identifying issues and carrying out essential repairs and maintenance on a wide range of machines.
Using precision diagnostic instruments, technical drawings, maintenance manuals and data, you'll troubleshoot problems to find the right fix and suggest improvements that will get equipment performing even better. There's a lot of attention to detail involved but also plenty of variety in what you do and a great sense of achievement at the end of each day.
Maybe you're already a technician in a manufacturing facility or have gained mechanical or electrical experience through an advanced maintenance apprenticeship. Either way, you'll be someone who's used to dealing with high-tech machinery and is eager to learn. You'll get our full support and expert training, along with excellent rewards and benefits, including a shift allowance of £5,400 each year and the opportunity to grow your earnings as you progress.
If you like the idea of a job that gives you fantastic colleagues, great rewards, and the opportunity to play a part in our world-leading work - it's time to apply.
