Customer Team Leader
Location: Hartington Road, Dronfield, S18 2LF
Pay: £13.32 per hour
Contract: 24 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time
Working pattern: 3 varied shifts over 7 days including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview
Full, paid training provided. You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team leader at Co-op, as you’ll need to authorise age-related sales.
We’re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll be part of a friendly team that’s dedicated to helping our customers. We’ll look to you to help lead the store team – coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while also delivering great customer service and performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.
What you’ll do:
1. Provide friendly and thoughtful service, managing the store and handling challenging situations.
2. Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture.
3. Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational.
4. Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to enhance the shopping experience.
5. Support your store manager by deputising when they’re not working and delivering HR processes.
6. Lead the introduction of new products and services, encouraging feedback.
7. Build relationships and engage with your local community, supporting the local Co-op community plan.
