Overview and Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a Level 3 Qualified Support Worker in Meldreth Manor, near Royston, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border. The role involves providing education, care, and therapeutic support for children and young people aged 9+ with severe communication difficulties due to conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, brain injury, and degenerative disorders.
Key Duties include:
1. Providing high levels of care during daily activities like washing, dressing, socialising, and personal care.
2. Assisting with therapy sessions such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy.
3. Building effective communication and relationships to empower children and young adults.
4. Ensuring a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment.
5. Supporting the development of learning and social skills.

Skills and Qualifications
