Job Title: Transport Support and Technology Officer Salary: £24,201 - £25,795 per annum 35 Hours per Week Location: Warndon Depot, Worcester Team: Highways and Transport Systems and Technology Team Permanent The Role: We are excited to offer a new opportunity to join the Highways and Transport Systems and Technology Team as a Transport Support and Technology officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking specialist administrative tasks within the Highways and Transport division relating to finance and technology. The role provides pivotal administrative support to the department and will require the successful candidate to engage with customers, suppliers, colleagues and partners to respond to enquiries, process payments, investigate and challenge financial anomalies and report, record and maintain key functions of the department. The role will require the candidate to be IT literate however, full training will be provided on the specific specialist IT and Finance systems. You will need to have a practical and proactive approach to a variety of tasks and have clear, concise and assertive communication and negotiation skills; both written and oral. You must also have excellent organisational skills, a high level of accuracy when recording and conveying information and excellent Team skills.
