Veterinary Surgeon – South East London

Salary: Up to £60,000 annual salary (DOE), and support for personal interests and certificates.

Purovets has an excellent opportunity to become a part of an expanding team within a long-standing, independent veterinary practice located in South East London. Our client has two practices in the local area and owing to rising demand from their dedicated clientele, they require an additional Veterinary Surgeon to join their skilled team.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with a small, close-knit team comprising of 4 experienced Veterinary Surgeons who have various interests including Ultrasound, cardiology, and orthopaedic surgery.
In addition to this accomplished veterinary team, you will also work alongside a dedicated Practice Manager ensuring seamless operations. The Operations Manager adds a strategic touch, enhancing the overall efficiency of the practice. Registered Veterinary Nurses and Student Veterinary Nurses contribute to this collaborative environment, promising a rich blend of knowledge, skills, and a shared passion for delivering outstanding veterinary care.
The practice boasts a comprehensive range of cutting-edge equipment at your disposal, from endoscopy to ultrasound, dental X-ray, and radiography to capnography. The practice is situated between the picturesque boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley, allowing you to enjoy the captivating Kent countryside as your immediate backdrop.
Our client is seeking an adept and empathetic Veterinary Surgeon who takes immense pride in delivering unparalleled standards of care. While prior experience is valued, our client enthusiastically welcomes applications from recent graduates (Vet GDP completed), acknowledging the invaluable potential that fresh perspectives bring.
The Rota:
1. Permanent, Full time/Part time
2. Full time is a 4-day week 8.30am – 6.30pm
3. 1:4 Saturdays 8.30am-12.30pm
4. No OOH
5. Open to discuss the possibility of part-time shifts or looking to fix or flex your work patterns.
