Job Title: Project Planner
Location: Bellshill, Glasgow
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8am–5pm | Friday, 8am–3pm
Salary: 45k-55k
Role Overview
A UK Leader in the Building Services Sector are expanding their team in Bellshill and looking for a Project Planner to support with their projects from design to construction.
They specialise in sustainable offsite prefabricated solutions and have a strong presence across the UK and Europe designing, developing and delivering energy solutions and district heating projects
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate works from the design to the construction phase.
* Monitor progress during construction, update plans, and manage revisions.
* Attend project meetings to present updates and key project information.
* Prepare and manage construction programmes, ensuring accurate timelines for senior management reports.
* Forecast project timelines, labour, and resource requirements.
* Support programme decision-making by preparing and presenting programme data.
* Coordinate with project teams to accelerate tasks and resolve issues.
* Monitor progress against plans, identify improvements, and produce reports like S curves and dropline programmes.
* Provide proactive support to site and project teams, suggesting actions to address challenges.
Experience Required
* 2–3 years in a similar role with a solid understanding of the construction process from design to completion.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office packages.
* Responsible, proactive, results-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously.
* Excellent time management, planning, and prioritisation skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication.
* Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
* Flexibility to undertake work-related travel when required.
