Role involves delivering classes on self-defense, which can either be on a theoretical or practical basis. The classes can sometimes be for victims who are looking to protect themselves or ethnic minority groups where sensitivity and understanding are needed. We are also looking for someone to deliver fitness-based classes; both these classes would suit someone from a martial arts/aerobics/fitness background or interest.
Experience required
No experience required, but we would prefer the volunteer to come from a background in martial arts/aerobics/fitness with a keen interest in helping people, although training can be given.
