We are based over 3 sites in Hull, You will play a crucial role in the day to day support -
The role includes:
Supporting with household tasks such as laundry, shopping, paying bills, managing finance, making meals and meal planning.
Ensure everyones safety and well being at all times.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Encouraging the people who live there to follow support plans
Putting there wellbeing at the heart of what you do and work with other key agencies to ensure independence is maintained.
Support with health appointments
Support to establish community links and uptake activities such as attending college or volunteer work.
Working on a rota basis that includes sleeping in (allowance for this paid) shifts will include weekends and bank holidays.
We are looking to recruit to 2 Support Workers on a 12 month fixed term basis to work as follows:
Post: 2 x 37 hours per week
Applicants must hold an NVQ Level 2 in care qualification or equivalent and have experience of working in a supportive environment.
