Earlsfield Court is a stunning 72-bedded luxurious residential and dementia care home providing the very best in care and support.
We are looking to recruit an admin assistant/receptionist to work on a part-time basis which includes alternate weekend working. You will follow a 2-week rolling rota, with shifts from 9am to 5pm as follows:
Week 1: Tuesday and Wednesday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday
As the Administration Assistant/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact at the home. This role requires someone with a range of skills, good IT experience, and attention to detail.
In addition to reception duties, you will provide additional administration support to the Home Administrator on a daily basis, predominantly with HR-related administration duties. You will also need a good knowledge of the financial aspects of the role to cover in the Administrator's absence.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Welcome and greet visitors to the home in a professional and courteous way, ensuring the visitors' book and the person’s identity is checked as far as reasonably practical.
2. Answer the telephone and respond to enquiries at reception, redirecting calls to relevant staff and recording messages accordingly.
3. Provide additional administration support to the home’s Administrator on a daily basis, predominantly with HR-related administration duties.
4. Assist with recruitment tasks, sifting CVs, chasing references, and verifying ID documents.
5. Organise internal meetings and ensure that any requirements have been actioned.
6. Coordinate the staff meal process as applicable to the individual home.
7. Respond to any emergency situations as requested by the home.
8. Maintain the general tidiness of the reception area, liaising with the housekeeping team to ensure standards are maintained.

1. Excellent customer service skills.
2. IT literacy - competent with the use of systems.
3. Previous telephone experience.
4. Professional telephone manner.
5. Knowledge of general administration.
6. Good communication skills.
7. Neat and well presented.
8. Excellent written and verbal English.
