We require an Environmental Consents Advisor to join a small, dynamic environmental and sustainability practice based out of their Head Office, primarily in the rail, infrastructure and construction sectors.
There is an immediate need for assignments based in the West Midlands on HS2 Phase One with some travel.
It is a home-based position, with a requirement to visit the project office/site two days each week initially.
Your primary objective is to consolidate the environmental consents currently identified and support the process of obtaining environmental consents from each environmental consent granting body associated with the delivery of two major sections of the programme.
Internal interfaces will typically be the Consents Manager, Environmental Consents Manager, Consents Assurance Manager (planning), Design Manager, Interface Manager, Environment Manager, Construction teams Design Joint Venture, and consultant support teams.
External interfaces will typically be the Client Management Team, Local Authorities, Environment Agency, Natural England, English Heritage, and relevant stakeholders with an environmental involvement with the Client as directed.
Accountabilities include obtaining all identified Environmental Consents required for operational activities, as required.
The Environmental Advisor assists in the identification and consolidation of the necessary Environmental Consents that may be required, recognising that requirements may change during the delivery of the project.
