Introduction
I am a carer for my wife. My wife has autism and a personality disorder, her mood can change at times. She can be irritable and can be challenging in these instances. She appreciates it people are patient with her. My wife can drive her car, but she needs someone present with her when she drives. She likes going to the airfield for tea and coffee. She enjoys watching and at times flying aeroplanes.
There is a dog present in the home.
Duties
Support client, so carer can have a break from their carer role.
Social support to access the community and have tea and coffee, food etc.
Support with activities, such as airplane watching, attending gym etc.
Hours: 6 hours per week
Rate: £13.84 per hour
Essential Requirements
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring, if requested.
Desired Experience
• Organised, flexible and good communicator.
• Patience.
• Experience in support work, but not essential.
