Following an internal move within the Council, we are now recruiting for a Responsive Repairs and Voids Manager to join our Housing Maintenance and Asset Management team.
You will work alongside the Housing Maintenance Manager in effectively planning, monitoring, and coordinating the provision of the Responsive Repairs and Voids service, taking responsibility for operational delivery.

You will also be working with a great team, dedicated to delivering effective services for our tenants.
Your new role will include:
Carrying out effective management of staff within your team, maintaining good morale and a high standard of performance.
Assisting with the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to support the efficient operation of the service.
Setting and monitoring key performance indicators that drive high performance, taking action to address any issues.
Leading the effective and efficient delivery of void property works.
In conjunction with the Compliance team, ensuring that disrepair cases are handled in a professional and efficient manner.
Responding to complaints effectively and within set timeframes.
What we’d like you to bring to our team:
Proven experience of managing building maintenance works, ideally within the housing sector.
Experience of successfully managing an operational team including direct employees and contractors.
Experience of working with tenants and leaseholders.
Ablility to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
Resourceful, with a continuous improvement approach.
Effective communication skills.
Experience working with KPIs, to targets, and in within budgets to deliver an effective, efficient, and cost-effective service.
