CCAB/CIMA qualified and experienced in developing and implementing strategies, you will have a commitment to providing a quality, customer focused service. Able to lead, motivate, challenge and initiate change with excellent communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative, you will be able to cope with a varied workload and unexpected demands.
The Finance Section at Ipswich Borough Council encompasses financial accounting, management accounting, business partnering, finance system management, treasury management, insurance, income collection, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
The role is likely to be focused more on the management accounting, business partnering and system management areas and so experience in any of those would be a bonus, but there will be the opportunity to develop your experience across the whole section.
Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
