Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + 20% bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Controls & Heating Products will involve:
* Field sales position, selling a manufactured range of controls and heating systems such as: electric/hydronic towel rails, hydraulic radiators, thermostats, timers, heaters, and heating devices for both new build or refurbishment applications.
* 60% of your time will be spent creating demand/generating specifications with social housing developers, councils, developers, housebuilders, and contractors.
* The remaining 40% of your time will be spent selling to national builders merchants, regional builders merchants, plumbing and heating merchants, electrical wholesalers, and buying groups.
* Once up and running will be target to turnover £1m.
* Will predominantly be an account management position; however, will be expected to generate some new business.
* Working closely with and reporting directly to the Sales Director.
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Controls & Heating Products with:
* Experience selling to plumbing & heating merchants/electrical wholesalers.
* Experience with related electrical/plumbing & heating building products such as: heating controls, boilers, radiators, electrical controls, piping systems, plumbing systems.
* Ideally an electrical heating/controls background (not essential).
* Experience generating specifications with social housing developers, housebuilders, and contractors.
* Consideration for someone from a merchants route to market background; however, preference for those with developer relationships.
* Energetic self-starter capable of handling multiple tasks to deadlines.
* Trustworthy and professional approach.
