Automation Analyst/Engineer Location: Northern Ireland (Hybrid/Flexible) Start Date: January 2025 End Date: 11-month contract, with possible extensions until March 2031 Day Rate: £300-£350 Contract Type: Outside IR35 Are you an experienced Automation Analyst/Engineer with over 10 years of experience in data analysis, data modelling, and automation testing? Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is looking for two skilled Automation Analyst/Engineers to join their team on an exciting project. Key Responsibilities: As an Automation Analyst/Engineer, you will select the right methods and tools to ensure effective project control and risk management. Apply your expertise as an Automation Analyst/Engineer to modify and maintain data structures and related components using data analysis and modelling techniques. As part of your role as an Automation Analyst/Engineer, you will create and execute test scripts for both new and amended software/services. You will be responsible for creating traceability records, linking test cases to requirements, as an Automation Analyst/Engineer. The Automation Analyst/Engineer will also produce regression packs, test scripts, and materials to evaluate software functionality. Define test environment and data requirements in your role as an Automation Analyst/Engineer. Capture and document knowledge to ensure team-wide knowledge transfer, utilizing your skills as an Automation Analyst/Engineer. Required Experience & Skills: A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Automation Analyst/Engineer. Expertise in data analysis and modelling techniques for automation. Strong background in creating and executing test scripts and managing regression testing. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with teams, particularly as an Automation Analyst/Engineer working closely with the Functional Test Lead.
