JOB TITLE: PROJECT ENGINEER II
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
2. Provide technical advice and solve technical problems related to construction, commissioning, and operational activities.
3. Undertake technical surveys at site.
4. Prepare technical reports and proposals.
5. Support Management with the planning, execution, coordination, and oversight of all assigned engineering activities.
6. Provide progress monitoring and reporting against the plan. Identify shortfalls and communicate these to Direct Supervisor.
7. Assist in the preparation and presentation of the final documentation in accordance with requirements of Client acceptance.
8. Ensure compliance with Petrofac’s ISO Quality procedures, Project Quality Plan, and Integrity processes and procedures. Comply with other Petrofac accredited frameworks such as ISO14001.
9. Perform related duties as agreed with Senior Project Engineer/Project Engineering Manager.
10. Undertake technical surveys at site both onshore and offshore.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
1. Experience of Offshore Wind.
2. Appreciation of other engineering disciplines.
3. Knowledge of standard international specifications and codes.
4. Knowledge of Safety and Quality procedures.
5. Good Coordination skills.
6. Good Communication skills.
7. Proactive approach.
8. Team player.
9. Ability to meet schedules and deadlines.
10. Multi-tasking abilities.
11. Analytical and problem-solving mind.
12. Practical application of problem-solving skills.
13. Typically Degree Qualified in Engineering or relevant practical experience with willingness to undertake professional development.
14. Ideally have related experience working for Engineering/Client organisations in the Oil and Gas, Wind, or Marine Industries. Have full GWO training & ability to perform offshore inspections. Knowledge of CMMS systems is also a requirement.
