Customer Relationship Coordinator - The Role:
We have a vacancy within our Customer Relationship team for an experienced or trainee coordinator to develop skills to provide shipping, transport and forwarding expertise, build and develop relationships with customers to generate and increase business. Understanding customers' needs and requirements and promote internal solutions across the Davies Turner services range. To provide service information, quotations, take bookings and champion the needs of the customer. This position is based at Edison's Business Park, Crossways in Dartford which has good road, bus and rail links.
Customer Relationship Coordinator - Key Responsibilities:
- Arranging export shipment bookings from start to finish
- Preparing quotations
- Liaising with our customers, offices and overseas partners
- Charging files, passing invoices and dealing with queries
- Attention to detail, adaptable and willing to learn
- A team player keen to play a part in the success of the department
- Excellent communication skills - dealing with customers, keeping them updated, solving problems
- Good Commercial awareness
Customer Relationship Coordinator - You:
- Experience of import procedures gained in either a road or ocean import department
- Excellent communication skills - dealing with customers, keeping them updated, solving problems
- Experience of completing entries and shipping documentation as required
- Attention to detail, adaptable and willing to learn
- Commercial awareness with good negotiation skills
- Charging files and passing invoices and dealing with queries
- A team player keen to play a part in the success of the department
- Excellent IT skills
- In addition, you'll also need the right to work in the UK - we are not able to sponsor work permits.
